Join MITAC and Hub Town Tours on a private tour as we gear up to celebrate Patriots Day and the 250th anniversary of the events of 1776!
Boston's principal role in launching the American Revolution is linked by the brick-lined Freedom Trail. This world-famous pedestrian path is best experienced on foot, in a small group, with a knowledgeable local guide! This 90-minute tour travels from the Faneuil Hall Marketplace to the Boston Common, providing guests a chance to see 11 of 16 official landmarks on the Freedom Trail. Along the way, we'll delve deeply into the years 1760 to 1776, the tumultuous years leading into the American Revolution. We'll walk in the footsteps of Colonial Bostonians, all of whom grappled with the difficult—yet essential—question of loyalty or rebellion to crown and country.
With a captivating storytelling approach, Hub Town Tours provides the perfect introduction to Boston's status as America's "Cradle of Liberty." As we travel past historic landmarks from Revolutionary Boston, your guide will share the gripping story of a small colonial town careening toward war with a global empire.
We welcome visitors of any age, but this tour involves a fair bit of walking and is best suited for adults and older children. This tour is wheelchair, scooter, and stroller accessible. Please let us know in advance about any accessibility concerns.
