Next-generation standouts, the Isidore Quartet are at an exhilarating place in their career: competition wins and young-artist accolades launched them, and now, their programmatic voice, technical mastery, and passion for sharing chamber music with a wide audience have put them among the most in-demand artists on the scene.

After Britten's witty neoclassical Divertimenti and the grief-stricken outcry of Mendelssohn's Quartet in F minor, they team with pianist Jeremy Denk for Brahms' Piano Quintet. Piano and quartet face equal demands in this masterpiece, and the artists offer an electric stylistic interplay: the Isidores' emotional directness in conversation with Denk's searching restraint.
