About MITAC

MITAC (MIT Activities Committee) is a non-profit employee benefits program, providing the MIT and Lincoln Laboratory communities with access to exclusive and often discounted tickets for local arts, culture, sports, recreation, seasonal, and family activities. In addition, the MITAC staff, along with volunteer committee members, coordinate several one-of-a-kind events throughout the year to bring together colleagues and families to socialize and have fun.

MITAC was established in 1983 as a pilot program, developed by the Working Group for Support Staff Issues to serve the cultural and recreational interests of MIT community members.
